SnakeBytes, 9/3: Weekend Edition
We face off against the Astros tonight- though both teams come in with less-than-impressive records, they're both on pretty good runs against teams heading into the playoffs. This might be a surprisingly good series.

There is quite a bit more on the link to the right of this comment (under recent SB Nation.com stories).
I got nothin'.
Houston
Houston has been playing decent since June really. Its just their April/May were horrendous. And since June, each month has gotten better (win-wise at least).
Let’s go Hudson!!!
I got nothin'.
On top of that, he was named NL Pitcher of the Month. Okay, kid, now we’ll expect this all the time.
Tim Hudson?
Daniel Hudson was listed as receiving votes, but Tim Hudson won POTM.

Whoops
Sorry, acute case of dumb combined with not checking my sources.
"Robin, some people die of old age. Some people get crushed by a tank shaped like a giant Rubber Ducky. That's life."
However,
since Rafael Freaking Betancourt also received votes for going 4-0 and pitching 10 innings, one has to wonder.

He clearly know how to win
"It's not the despair, Laura. I can take the despair. It's the hope I can't stand." -- Brian Stimpson
Man, we should trade Justin Upton for him.
Maybe he could teach Rodrigo Lopez a thing or two.
