I've thrown this idea around before and a few seem interested. Basically, after seeing the quality of some media that manages to garner attention centering around about the Diamondbacks, I can't help but feel that the immense knowledge contained here could do much, much better with a weekly podcast. Does anyone think they could roll with this? It's 100% up in the air at the moment, and I'm sort of gauging interest. Niiko/BattleMoses and I would probably host it (simply because we don't really have lives...), and as it would be weekly, we could have people call in at any time in the week to record and put it wherever it would fit in the podcast. I'd edit it and probably put it up on Saturdays, and even if it's godawful, it's free and it can kill some time whenever you're bored.

So, what do y'all think? Wimb hosted it in the past and it eventually died off, but from what I heard while it was up, it was pretty entertaining. Also, I don't know if I'd get approval (I'd assume not) to use Snakepit in the title, seeing as I'm just a random member on hurr.

EDIT: With the current configuration/pilot script, we're looking at a 15-minute show at best (eventually, you run out of Dbacks-related things to talk about). If you have ideas for segments, /please/ post them. This is quite a community effort here! The current locks are a recap of games in the last week (very quick recap, maybe four sentences each game), brief overview of the minors in the last week, a debate topic to spark some discussion, then a segment looking at interesting news around the league. Running through a few trial runs, we're looking at 15mins.
