• [NYTimes.com] Roger Clemens Is Indicted on Perjury Charges - A federal grand jury has indicted the pitcher on charges of making false statements to Congress about use of performance-enhancing drugs. I think this sums up my feelings on the topic best.

• [fangraphs.com] Carlos Quentin’s Drop Off Continues - Yeah, Quentin demolished opposing pitching right after we traded him.  But his performance hasn't lived up to that torrid stretch since then- his injuries haven't helped.  (And I already used my sad trombone noise on the last link!  Bad planning.)

• [yahoo.com] Flame on! Stuntman set on fire, runs bases in minor leagues - AZCentral commenters are now complaining that we need to hire this guy to manage the team.

• [freep.com] Tigers' Jim Leyland sorry for cuss word on the air - Both benches get warned during the first inning, and then you don't toss the pitcher when he hits a batter that's hit two home runs that day? Really weird day from the umpire.  And then things get worse for Leyland when he goes out to argue, forgets he's wearing a mic, and the broadcast picks up his profanity when he's ejected.
