Both AJ Hinch and Josh Byrnes fired by Diamondbacks
Alright, so, although very surprising, Hinch could have been somewhat expected. Who the hell saw both Byrnes and Hinch being fired before the break? For those looking for some numbers, Hinch was 89-123 for a Winning Percentage of .420. I really don't know what to think, but I can only assume we're going through some serious changes here losing both our general manager and manager.
The Arizona Diamondbacks have fired general manager Josh Byrnes and manager A.J. Hinch, according to a front-office executive and two Diamondbacks players close to general manager Josh Byrnes. The Diamondbacks are expected to make an official announcement Friday.
The sources spoke only on the condition of anonymity because they were not given permission to talk.
The Diamondbacks, 31-48, in a downward spiral the last two years, have the third-worst record in baseball.
Diamondbacks owner Ken Kendrick and president Derrick Hall have made no secret their dissatisfaction with the baseball operations department. Yet, it had been unclear whether the Diamondbacks would be willing to eat their large contracts. Byrnes has a contract through 2015 and Hinch, who was hired on May 7, 2009, without any managerial experience, has a contract through 2012.

Good riddance
to AJ, I have never been a supporter. Byrnes I have mixed feelings on, I agree that he was tied to AJ far too much to survive, but I do like some of the moves he made as GM. Heres to the future, we’ll see who comes in to clean up this mess. I only hope its not some seat warmer to finish out the season, as the DBacks have enough attendance problems as it is, without the FO blatantly throwing the season.
Sadface.
I’ve been scooped, so I guess we should all file over there if we haven’t already.
Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like mouth?
The cool Snakepit.

Which would you rather have?
Bob Melvin or Kirk Gibson? I know this is hindsight, but experience is everything. Time to start looking for some seasoned guys that can demand the respect of the players and have been there a time or two.
