SnakePitFest v3.2: August 7th - Tickets Now On Sale!
By happy coincidence, our next group outing is August 7th, which they announced last night is the day they will be retiring Luis Gonzalez's number at Chase Field, the first ever to be retired by the Diamondbacks. This game will sell out, but you can be a part of history at a nicely-discounted rate. As before, we'll be sitting behind the Arizona bullpen [within Molotov cocktail range, though they are quite good at supplying the raging inferno themselves], and tickets cost only $8.50 rather that $15.00.
I repeat: this game will sell out, and I do not know if I will be able to get additional tickets, so I strongly urge you to buy tickets as soon as possible, because quantities are limited and tickets will be on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Sales have now closed. Thanks!

I might be in the same boat, with travel plans booked.
If Zephon can’t make it either, SPF3.2 is going to be…
…a short engagement.
YYYYYY—
No. But yeah, most of the height would be gone.
While I’m not as tall as you all, I am 6’3".
Not exactly short.

I'm cool with it.

Fine with me
But the new guy has to bring cake. It’s a rule.
(It’s not a rule.)

Count Me In
Hard to believe that I’d willingly leave my beautiful mountain and travel to Phoenix in August just to hang out with a bunch of folks I’ve never met (except Jim; I’ve met him), but I’ll do it.

To be fair
your beautiful mountain might be a pile of ashes before long.
Quit drooling, vote for me.
Nah
While it’s badly damaged, the fire is no where near as devastating as it could be. You can read my updates at: www.pygalgia.blogspot.com for more.

Fire season.
Be careful. Be thoughtful.
Use your blasted smokeless ashtray. Ain’t no shame.
Mr. P, I don’t envy you the trip.
When my ex and son lived in FLG I drove up there twice a weekend for a year and a half.
BEAUTIFUL contrast.
I was always rubbernecking at the stars once I hit the treeline.
I’ll be traveling to a similar rendezvous on the 24th of July to meet a bunch of strangers in a sports bar.
I guess there’s a game scheduled that day.
Now, I don’t go to bars/clubs except to play pool…and if there’s a game on I may catch snippets of it but never do I see an entire game.
I’ll make an exception this time.
The bar is McCovey’s…in San Francisco.
I plan on coming slightly incognito…under a Sedona Red hat.

Just do it!
I’ll see if Bruce Wayne will let you borrow the jet.

Don't think I'm going to make it
Too close to when I get back from vacation with me missing another weekend at the end of August (Vegas baby!) for me to take the time off work.
Maybe next year I’ll make it to one of these things.
Clear eyes, full hearts, can't lose.
Got mine
