Dbacks Management

Friday night  was the perfect example of not FIXING the issue. Boyer was released, cleared waivers(SHOULD HAVE BEEN A WARNING SIGN) and then brought back to help lose the game last night.

Guti has a world of talent but he cant seem to get it from POTENTIAL to PRODUCTION. You surely cant pay someone based on potential.  I understand his contract situation but how is he helping and if you release him what are you losing?  Sure someone may claim him off waivers but so what?  Maybe thats a few wins we can pick up?

I guess this is where I dont understand the logic behind all of this.  If the stoves hot you don't keep putting your hand on it.  If changes are going to be made and hopefully they will....who is the one thats making the on field decisions like bringing back Boyer that is costing games.  Putting Guti back in the game to give another game away.  It all seems very simple!!

I keep hearing about the lack of left handed pitching in the organization.  So we get to the draft and how may left handed pitchers were drafted?  Being the fan that I am I know there was at least one quality left hander on the board when we drafted.  What happened?

I read Kens article in the Republic about loyalty and being loyal to the people who have made this franschise successful?  When was the last time this franchise was really successful?  I guess successful has to be defined. I am as loyal as the next guy but there comes a time when BUSINESS DECISIONS for the betterment of the franchise have to be made. Is loyalty and friendships worth losing fans and games.  Thats whats going to happen if something isnt done quick.

If it is so plain and simple to me why isn't it?  I know Josh Brynes is under contract but whats the trade off? Do we continue to lose till 2015 when his contract is up?  i hope not ..you might be playing games to 2 or 3 thousand a night if it is!
