It has been a long time since I logged onto this site and feel that Jim should be fair enough to allow this post to stand........ Anyway... let us review a couple of issues that may have been forgotten. Ed-is-Gon. yup... that pitcher that was maybe... kinda...sorta... held in such high regard is now working at the car wash? And what has been up with that superstud Conor Jackson? Well...of course he is tearing up MLB pitching and playing solid defense.

Those older threads do serve one important purpose.

Sometimes all of the arguments are moot, especially when comparing crappy players to crappy players. Like in the Edgar vs. Max one, look at the damage:

Edgar Gonzalez — gone
Yusmeiro Petit — gone
Billy Buckner — gone
Jalien Peguero — gone
Max Scherzer — gone (all right, so maybe he wasn’t crappy I guess)
