I'm just sayin'....
Not got a line-up at this point, but I'm sure one of my colleagues will fill in the blanks as necessary. In a startling diversion from the previous couple of nights, I am hoping that the person scheduled to write the recap will actually be in a position to do it. Especially as it's me. :-) I'm not guaranteeing anything, however, and it may be a little late before I can see the game, as we're off on the continuing quest for SnakePit Towers v2.0 tonight. A promising candidate in Peoria fell through on the house inspection, turning out to need about fifteen grand of work. Oh, well: we're happy to have discovered it before signing on the dotted line.
Optimistic about this one. Over the past three appearances against the Astros, Haren is 3-0 with a 2.66 ERA and a trio of quality starts; in the same time against AZ, Rodriguez is 0-3, with an 8.78 ERA and no quality outings. Collectively, the current D-backs are hitting .297 off him,.while the current Astros bat .178 against Haren. I reckon we can take this one and win the series, which would give us a 6-5 road-trip. That's not bad, though given we lost two games where we got quality starts from Dan and Rodrigo Lopez, it could have been better. Mind you, as we also won a game where our starter went two innings....
