As became traditional last year, on the first Sunday of each month we like to open the game recap up to someone outside the usual writers. So, if anyone wants the job, please step forward in the comments, and make your pitch. You'l be doing it as a Fanpost: the regular editors will then add the rollcall, fangraph, etc. so you needn't worry about them, and then promote the post to the front page, Yahoo! etc. so you can show all your friends and family the cool piece you wrote showing up there.

This Sunday's contest is against the Cubs, with a first pitch at 11:20 am, so you will need to be up fairly early. Jargamus Prime has already offered to add extra illustrative pics since he'll be at the game, but we probably need someone to do the recap directly after the game.
