Just for fun, I thought of this while interacting on here, along with watching the game: How did you come up with your Snakepit username? Usernames arose in our game thread today so this got me curious...so post away with your answers...Tell us the story of how your alias originated. I'm sure there will be plenty good stories and even some laughs amongst all of us!

Since I started this, I shall go first:

Augie Ojeda's nickname for me is Rockstar (or as he tends to call me "Sweet Little Rockstar" due to my bling-bling Ed Hardy hat I wear to games sometimes...he loves the hat) and also, I love the Nickelback song "Rockstar", which I found out Rockies outfielder Brad Hawpe uses as his at-bat song...so thinking of these things, I thought about using the name Rockstar on a baseball board. Well the board I was frequenting at the time said that name was taken, so I added a different variation, or twist, to the spelling, coming up with Rockkstarr...I had problems with another poster/cyber bully on the board I was frequenting then and the person had me banned for no apparent reason. It was this bully who was causing problems with me and others on the board ..so when I came to this board, I tried to join and for some reason my profile/username wasn't working. That was under the alias of Rockkstarr11, which I added the 11 to my name for 2 reasons: Augie Ojeda and Brad Hawpe's jersey numbers. So when my alias wouldn't work, I re-created the alias only this time sporting the number 12 (Jeff Salazar's Diamondbacks number) to the name and there you have it, Rockkstarr12
