A.J. Pollock Out for 3 Months After Surgery

2

From Scout.com, A.J. Pollock is expected to miss about three months following surgery on his right (throwing) arm. Pollock had injured the arm bracing himself after falling while trying to field a fly ball (woops), causing the growth plate in his elbow to open and a piece of bone to become dislodged. There was no ligament damage, and there is no expected long-term negative effects with respect to Pollock's ability to throw or hit.
