PrintSo this coming Wednesday, the 31st of March, is the last EVAR ST game (probably) to be played in Tucson, and features YOUR ARIZONA DIAMONDBACKS facing off against the Colorado Rockies at 1:10PM at Hi Corbett Field. That's right, folks -- it's the last time to see major league teams play at the little baseball gem known as Hi Corbett, too.
It sounds like Bcawz and I are gonna be there. Who else is interested?

my car is currently in the shop
integrity automotive. I know a couple ppl in there. Yesterday my steering wheel got really stiff and I had to force it to turn. Today it was still stiff, but not as bad as yesterday. I have had issues with belts in the past (my stepdad tightened it for me a few weeks ago… he works at dearing). The steering fluid is fine. Any idea Phil? He said it might be a belt issue, after listening to me describe the problem. No call from Integrity yet.

I think if it were a belt you’d notice a few other accessories going bad. Why’d he “tighten” it for you? Do you have a bad tensioner?

No rattling noises. I thought I heard a scraping sound, but it was really faint on only for 2 seconds, so it could have been anything.
He tightened it because in the last year every so often I hear get really loud scraping noises when I make a turn. Usually for left turns. I could be just confusing something he said. Summer 09, it would randomly lurch and rpms would skyrocket and then I couldnt go past 40mph. I once was driving DOWNhill and it did that.

Its a power steering leak. the total will be 385$ (I also am having them do the 3000 mile thing) I need knew cv boots, but ive known that for a while its to expensive. There are also a couple of other things that my stepdad can do real quick (like the radiator).
Now that I think of it the tps sensor may have been fixed the last time we brought it in.

CV boots or CV joints? CV boots aren’t hard to replace, or expensive. It’s only pricey if you need to replace the inside and outside joint as well. In fact, it may be cheaper and easier to just replace the whole axle.

when i looked at the steering fluid thing yesterday the level was right in between min and max. maybe it was something else i was looking at. The object was white and had brown/black fluid in it and was in the posterior portion near the drivers side.

I tried a long time ago to become a member of their board and they flat out rejected me…so I have no remorse whatsoever for them and their rude behavior. This place is great and I think everyone on here is pretty cool :) I even have a few members (you, Phil, Katers, Howclaws, MrsSoco) all on my Facebook and have Katers, Hotclaws, and MrsSoco all on my LiveJournal :) At one time I did have Snakecharmer on my LiveJournal too but I think she has since dropped me…why? Rock, when were you flat out rejected? All new members at DBBP are manually entered by either Jim or me since we were hit with automated spamsters a few years back, and I haven’t rejected a Rockkstarr. Maybe Jim caught you siphoning gas from his car at the last gathering and is holding a grudge?

This was a few years ago but I went under a different alias then. All I ever got back was an email that said I was rejected and it didn’t give any reason why, so I never went back. I came to this board instead under the recommendation of Justin when he mentioned it on the DBacks’ MLB board (which I also was a member of for many years. I began having problems with a poster from that board No1BaxFan…the nemesis of many on that board may I add…I’m sure Justin can attest to that
As for gas siphoning, that wouldn’t be me LOL
