It seems he will be operating in a utility role with the Diamondbacks next year, and Blum thinks "there are a lot of similarities" between himself and Craig Counsell: hitters who can bat left-handed (Blum is a switch-hitter), and are able to play all four infield spots. Clubhouse leadership is also discussed.
