Being the diehards we are, we eat, sleep, live, and breathe for baseball as well as other aspects in our lives. When the season ends, many of us tend to go through withdrawals of sorts. To get us through, we tend to watch the playoffs and the World Series, depending on who makes it to the Fall Classic or just to get our baseball fix, attend Arizona Fall League games to check out the up-and-coming stars, check out Winter League scores online, watch baseball-themed movies, such as "Major League", "Bull Durham", and "Field Of Dreams", attend baseball card shows and player signings, check out the Hot Stove news, etc.
To cure myself of baseball withdrawals, I watch a lot of baseball movies. Also, I keep myself busy with photography and scrapbooking projects. The past couple seasons, my friend and I made some really nice scrapbooks for some of the players: Jeff Salazar, Augie Ojeda, Luis Gonzalez, Mark Reynolds, and Ryan Roberts, and they all really appreciated the time, effort, and labor we put into each scrapbook we made. We are currently working on one for Chris Young, Gerardo Parra, and Miguel Montero and will present them to the guys either at Spring Training or the regular season, depending on when we get them complete.
If anyone has any pictures, poems, or anything else they would like featured in the upcoming scrapbooks, please feel free to email me at Rockkstarr11@gmail.com and I'd be glad to include them. I was even thinking of doing a page from The Snakepit in each of the scrapbooks if possible too. Any other ideas you guys and gals may have, throw 'em at me here in a post or in email to me.
