Recently, Bud Selig has openly stated that he is interested in expanding the playoffs to include two additional wild-card teams. If it had been enacted this year, for example, you would have seen a 89-73 Boston Red Sox team and a 90-72 San Diego Padres make it into the mix.

Do you feel that the Red Sox, despite finishing third in their division, deserves a seed in the playoffs? Would you be cool with the Padres making it in after a total collapse in the last month and basically handing over their berth to another team?
