Halos Need Snakes Fans Support
Top Ten Reason D-Backs fans should root for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in the Playoffs:
- We handed you alphabetical possession of first place in baseball when we changed our name to "Los Angeles"
- Time to break out that Jason Bulger jersey
- Every Mike Sciosica victory is a twist of the knife in the Dodgers who fired him as their AAA manager
- Southwest Bias!
- We're an expansion team too, just like you
- Other than the Dodgers and the Rockies, we are the only postseason team who holds spring training in Arizona
- Relive those pleasant 2001 memories by watching US beat the Yankees in the ALCS
- If it is not us, then Boston will have no argument about being called "team of the decade"... barf...
- The Rally Monkey makes his offseason home in Lake Havasu City
- W.W.J.M.D.? (What Would John McCain Do?)

You might
have had me until the end. Now I’m rooting for the Yankees.

Never fear,
i doubt with the communist in the white house if we will ever see free elections again. So, we should be safe from the likes of JMc

seriously
i mean, if mccain would have won, we’d still be in afghanistan and iraq and would be ratcheting up the pressure on iran. oops, never mind.

Leaning Angels-ish
But might be hard if the Twins make it, as they were (very vaguely) my team prior to the D-backs starting.
You might see a few more of these, as I emailed the other SB Nation playoff-contending blogs tonight, inviting them to make a pitch. I’m collating their replies and will be posting the two ballots (NL and AL) at the end of the regular season, so we can see who gets the SnakePit endorsement.

I guess
if I had to choose my AL schedule would go:
Tigers
Angels
Yankees
Red Sox
And then my NL schedule:
Cardinals
Phillies
Tigers
Angels
Wait…whut?

i like this game
my preferences (of the viable teams):
al:
angels
twins
tigers
red sox
yankees
nl:
cardinals
rockies
phillies
braves
dodgers

I agree
as far as the AL is concerned. I might actually switch the Red Cubs and Yankees, though.

well
if i have to, sure, i’ll root for the angels, lived in OC for a few years and have some diehard angel friends there, so why not. beats the hell out of the teams i hate (yanks and dodgers) and the others i couldn’t care less about (the rest).

Number 6 is like saying
“other than Rockies, Giants, Padres, Dodgers, Phillies, Reds, Cubs, Mets, Braves, Marlins, Nationals, Brewers, Astros, Pirates, and Cardinals, the Diamondbacks are the only team in the National League.”
Bring back the Baltimore Chop!
The Angels
were my dad and grandpa’s first team (way back to when the California Angels), and therefore mine.
So sure, why not?

I dunno
It’s very difficult to root for a team from Los Angeles… then again, I’ve always liked the Angels. Not sure who I’d prefer to win, though, out of CO and y’all.
Warning: the above represents the thoughts and opinions of a 15-year-old.
The Angels aren't from LA.
The Halos are my 5th-ish favorite team. Don’t know who I’m rooting for yet, maybe the Cards, my 3rd fave team. Lol.

How
many favorite teams do you have, out of curiosity?

Gotta love the Angels
The play baseball the way I like to see it played. Plus, when you consider everything that team had to endure this year, and still they won the division…hats off to them.
Besides, the owner is a UofA grad, and the whole front office is littered with Wildcats.
Go Angels!
Besides,
the owner wanted to buy the Dbacks, but Colangelo ran him out of the organization instead.

I will never root for the Angels
Or any of the other AL teams, and the Dodgers.
I would rather be captured by Hamas.
I laugh until my head comes off.
Yeah Halos!
In the ALCS!
