Aces welcome another probable designated hitter
Interesting stuff on the logjam at 1B, with the arrival of Brandon Allen. Of particular note, this section on page two:
As the Diamondbacks continue to struggle and sit near the cellar of the NL West, it is possible either Tracy or Clark could be released, possibly during the upcoming all-star break, to make room for an extended look at Whitesell in the majors... "I have to believe that there's something that's going to transpire in the next couple days. That would be my best baseball-educated guess," said Butler, who did not specifically mention such a scenario but has been in contact with Arizona manager A.J. Hinch, director of player development Mike Berger and roving coordinator Rico Brogna the past couple days. "Something is going to have to transpire. They've given me speculation; they've given me discussion. I know there are discussions going on, but until I know specifics for sure I really don't know anything."

It's About Time
Though Tracy is banking $5 million this year and I would prefer that they get something in return for him. I’m sure some team would deal..
Clark should be dumped immediately. Whichever scenario, both players are extremely expendable and should be taken care of A.S.A.P.
Wear your own fur.
Clark
is worth pretty much nothing. Tracy’s deal means we almost certainly won’t get anything from him.
