Week 4 Results

AZ SnakePit 3, Captain Douchebag 5
Crawford stole eleven bases this week, but it was his 4-for-4 on Sunday that gave BA, and overall victory to Captain. Verlander had 2 W and 20 K for Snake, and Swisher three HR, but Theriot (7 R) and Fuentes (2 SV) were key players for Captain.

Blonde Streaks 2, Balco's Boys 7
Pitching propelled the Boys, Lilly (W, 13 K) and Wilson (3 Sv) their leading men, though Utley had three homers and Helton drove in seven for them too. For Blonde, Hudson also had seven RBI, and Jenks notched three saves in a losing cause.

GregSchulteOverdrive 2, Baked 7
Baked swept hitting with a well-balanced performance, hitting .306 with nine HR as a team. Longoria drove in 14 and Dunn homered three times. Pitching was more even: Haren (Baked) had two wins and 21 K's, but Greg took both ERA and WHIP.

Arizona Muugens 6, Desert Dingleberries 2
Neither team shone on the mound, Muugens' 5.24 ERA and 1.58 WHIP enough to get a sweep, behind Hoffman's three saves. Things were more even at the plate: RBI and SB ended tied, with Granderson's (Desert) 2 HR and 6 RBI the best mark.

Wimboes Barmy Army 6, Moving on Uptons 4
Zambrano (2 W) couldn't stop Wimboes from all the pitching points, Papelbon and Rodney saving two each for them, while Nolasco struck out ten. Zimmerman had three HR for Uptons, but Jones (8 R, 2 SB) gave Wimboes SB and overall victory.

7-2 Offsuiters 9, Kapsaicin Kids 1
The week's most convincing win saw 7-2 move to the head of the table, behind Ibañez (3 HR, 9 RBI) and Gallardo (W, 11 K - sorry, his HR doesn't count!). Upton had three stolen-bases for Kids, the only area in which they managed to prevail.

warlords 5, Confederate Generals 5
These two armies couldn't be separated, warlords having the edge in hitting, but the Generals matching that in pitching. Posada had 2 HR and 7 RBI for warlords, while Broxton's 2 vulture Wins and a Save helped give those to the Generals.

The Fighting Amish 5, Shoryukens! 5
The Amish racked up eight saves (three for Francisco), and a team ERA of just 2.11, but Shoryu got three HR and 7 RBI out of Peña, and racked up 43 runs. Wins went their way by one, but the Amish took BA by just .006, so a tie seems fair.
