Byrnes - The all time pop-ups leader

Ok, I do not really post here a lot but I have been checking in daily the past few years since I discovered the sight. Finally, I had to make a post because of something I read on Wikipedia. So there I was, checking out the latest Diamondbacks entry in Wikipedia, when I noticed something that made me laugh uncontrollably. I was looking at the Dbacks all time hitting leaders, and saw Eric Byrnes name listed as having infinity pop-ups. I laughed very hard and thought to myself that someone at the snakepit was responsible for this. Whoever it was, I applaud you.

I was finally able to move back to Tucson and can now see some games again. Plus my job allows me to make more game comments at the pit.

I wonder what other gems of information we didn’t know are out there… :-) Here’s a link to the section in question. Interestingly, the same user also made a few other, similar changes, most recently to the page for AJ Hinch: “Hinch was named manager of the struggling Arizona Diamondbacks on May 8, 2009, replacing Bob Melvin effectively becoming another one of Dback G.M. Josh Byrnes’ puppets.”

He also had a blast of activity [click on the ‘diff’ link to see the changes] late last year, adding similar sardonic comments to the pages for Melvin, Rauch, Schu, Byrnes and Hale.

Investigation continues. Whoever it is, is a Cox user here in Phoenix…
