So, the biggest Diamondbacks fan in the Bay Area (me) is FINALLY coming to Arizona to see our boys!! It's a convenient little side trip after our soccer matches, and we'll see my family in the area, and I want to also meet up with YOU guys!
I will be in town Monday April 20th - Thursday the 23rd. I want to try to go to two of the Rockies games Monday - Wednesday, but I don't know which ones because we don't have finalized plans with my family yet. But I figured I should ask my baseball family too - anybody up to catch a game??? :)

I think we’re seeing friends and family on Tuesday, and my dad wanted to go up to….. some restaurant that starts with a P that overlooks the city??

I don’t have English that day (the one class I need to go to), but it’s one of like 5 rehearsals for the final concert. Really cannot miss those. :-/

Just as a warning to anyone, Monday’s a 6:40 start, but the Wednesday is 12:40. Wednesday would probably work better for me, but I can see about working something out for Monday.

Let me see what I can do about tickets… I’m spoiled, I kinda like the good seats… ;) So I may get the good seats for Wednesday and cheaper group seats for Monday.

I thought they were all night games, I’m glad Wednesday is a day game because then we can still go out to dinner with the fam that night. Cool, thanks for the good news! :)
So, how many of us are in for Monday?
I count me, Jim, Chris, Phil, and Devin (and wife?). I am going to call and get tickets for Wednesday’s day game for my parents & I, I’ll inquire about what sections have room for 6 close by, then I’ll let you guys know where that is…. or I can buy them all and leave them at will call for ya’ll and exchange moolah later?

Section 133, I think about $30/ea if that’s okay… far enough down the line to be decently priced but close enough to still be able to see the game.
I’ll be there super early to try and get autographs so I’ll leave ’em at will-call under each of your names.

my buddy went down to phx last summer, i told him to get me an official ball and get it signed, but hopefully haren, johnson, & webb at least, but i guess he never got to. don’t know if he just showed up too late every game or they just didn’t sign that game.

From my experiences, not all players sign every day, and pitchers are especially hard to get.

Got into town late last night, can’t wait to see everyone at the game tonight!! :) Here’s my plan…
I’m one of those crazy people who get there when the gates open and autograph hound. :D So I will be there at 4:30 and I will leave everyone’s tickets at will call (two for Jim, two for Devin, one for Phil). I don’t know where I’m going to be before the game since I don’t know how accessible the autograph places I usually get to are, but I will be up at our seats, if not before the game then probably by the end of the first inning. ;)

The one on the North side of Chase, across Jefferson.
Is probably the best combo of cost and availability. The West side one is, IIRC, a bit pricey, and I think the Southwest one is for season-ticket holders only?
However, I’m not really an expert: we usually park at my job, two blocks east of the park and walk from there. Hey, take those perks while you can get them

Stepped away from the game to go get Mrs. Snakepit, I believe, and in his absence, the whole Upton-not-catching-the-pop-fly incident, Garland’s second error, and the run all happened. Tragic what happens when a man abandons his post like that.
That’s why, when I went to the concession stand, I made sure to go between innings and return quickly.
