Looks like the battle for the 25th roster spot is down to Wilson, Whitesell, and Roberts.

IMO,

it was worth a try. Ultimately, it only cost the Dbacks $25,000 plus per diem.

I'll just throw this one out there. . . .

How about Dallas McPherson? Marlins just waived him – guy is a LH hitting 3B with a decent glove who has just DESTROYED minor league pitching for 8 years now but has never been given a shot at the MLB level.

Also Micah Owings has a 1.52 ERA over 23.2 IP with 24 K’s. . . .plus he’s 1 for 3 with a double. (Sigh. . . . .)
