Proposals flood in for D-Backs' new facility
"At least eight proposals, with three from Indian tribes, were expected to come in by late Friday to meet the Diamondbacks' deadline... The Pima County Sports and Tourism Authority is fighting to keep the D-Backs and Rockies in Tucson and submitted a bid. Tom Tracy, authority chairman, said he would discuss the plan next week. Others in the running include: Salt River Pima-Maricopa, Fort McDowell Yavapai and Gila River Indian communities, an undisclosed development group from Phoenix, two development groups in Casa Grande and an undisclosed West Valley city."

I'm still trying to figure out who it would be in the West Valley
I assume it’s not Goodyear, Glendale, Surprise, or Peoria. Avondale? Litchfield Park? Sun City? Well, they wouldn’t lack for volunteers to help with parking and tickets out there… =)

There's always lovely Tonopah...
and Wintersburg, next to Palo Verde….
We weten allemaal dat het de beste is.

Wickenberg, perhaps?
After thinking about it, maybe Tolleson?
