Rosenthal: Juan Cruz signed by the Royals
Two year deal worth $6 million with an option for a third year, and we get their second round draft pick.

That's dirt cheap
I wish we gave him that kind of money, he was our best reliever last year.
Still, should be a nice draft for us, we gotta restock the farm.
He was our best reliever last year...
…and BoMel never used him.

Looks like something like 7 of the first 68 picks
So it looks like you guys will get the following picks:
- (own 1st rounder)
- (from LA)
- (Hudson sandwich)
- (Cruz sandwich)
- (Lyon sandwich)
- (from KC)
- (own 2nd rounder)
I’m assuming Type A Ben Sheets doesn’t sign anywhere, and that the remaining Type A/Bs all sign somewhere (Cabrera – A, Grudzielanek – B, D.Reyes – B, Byrd – B).
Not a bad haul for AZ
For some reason the draft numbers became a numbered list
Here are the picks I listed: 16, 17, 35, 41, 47, 64, 68.

Yeah sorry :) Using the # sign...
in multiple rows automatically makes your stuff into a numbered list. See the “formatting guide” at the bottom for details.

A slight error
Those last two picks (in the 2nd round) should be 63 & 67, assuming all but Sheets sign elsewhere of course.

Thanks
for sorting that out…. that IS quite a haul, isn’t it?

I'm kind of disappointed, too
I was hoping we might get him back. Too bad.

win win for me
I love Cruz and happen to think it’s ridiculous that he was fetched for so little. But seeing how I’m also a KC fan, this is great news. Draft pick for AZ, great reliever for KC. Thank you very much.
