Adam Dunn to sign with Nats
As expected, it appears as though Adam Dunn will sign with the Washington Nationals after agreeing to a 2-year, $20 million contract.
Thus ending, definitively, Dunn's brief career with the Dbacks.
It'll be interesting to see whether Dunn will be able to hit exactly 40 home runs at Nationals Park, as he's done the last 4 years.

...making the decision not to offer him arbitration.
At which he’d have got probably $15m, rather than $10m per year, probably a wise one.
God, that sentence structure sucked…

If it makes you feel any better,
my FanShot had a blatant sentence fragment right in the middle.

Now cross your fingers
and hope that Nationals also sign O-Dog. Then the Giants should swoop in and sign Manny, the Diamondbacks Cruz, and then go into Spring Training with the best possible odds for taking the division.
Agreed.

Granted,
that qualification “severely” limits him to the Dbacks, Astros, Reds, Nats, BoSox, Angels, Phillies, Braves, Cubs, Cardinals, Indians, Twins, and Rangers. Or, as someone else might say it, “nearly half the league”.
