Well
Signing the man who served as Queen Elizabeth’s physician in the late 16th century will certainly fill that “veteran presence” role on the team.
"I can just see it: Post 'Intervention? Why would I need an intervention?' And then he'd +1 himself."
Is it weird
that everytime I see the name “Rodrigo”, I automatically think of El Cid?
"The existence of flamethrowers is proof that someone, somewhere, said to himself, 'I want to set those people over there on fire, but I don't feel like walking over there to do it.'"
Nah, it makes sense
It’d be weirder if everytime you saw the name “Rodrigo”, you automatically thought of something completely unrelated, like the Green Lantern.
"I can just see it: Post 'Intervention? Why would I need an intervention?' And then he'd +1 himself."
Unfortunately, thanks to this remark
I will now automatically think of the Green Lantern, every time Rodrigo pitches.

Me too.
In fact, we might have found a nickname for him….

I agree
Perfectly random enough for all of us to appreciate.

All the 'Backs need to do now
is sign Frank Walsingham as a coach, and they’ll be able to withstand any sinister attacks from across the Colorado Channel . . .
Yay
For high-brow jokes!
