Brandon Lyon signs with the Astros
Because with Valverde leaving, they were low on ex-Diamondbacks in the bullpen. Seriously, though? 3 years, $15 million for a guy with a 4.20 career ERA?

I understand
It’s a horrible deal, as is ANY contract for a relief arm that lasts more than two years. They’ve consistently proven to be horrible value after horrible value. But Lyon is a former-closer who just performed well in the AL in ’09.
