Iwamura dealt to Pirates
Thought I'd throw this out there since I know there was at least some minor discussion of the possibility he would be traded to the Diamondbacks.

so much for THAT idea.
I have no idea why the Pirates traded for him, though.
I don't think this has ever happened before. The Redskins suck, yet the (Arizona) Cardinals and (University of Arizona) Wildcats don't.
Iwamura: “I’m definitely interested in the long term, but I first have to do what I can do. We’ll see what happens. Hopefully, we can go to the playoffs next season.”
Uh, did anyone tell him he’s going to the Pirates?
