So very much for the tee shirt.It arrived safely but I found the kittens sitting on it in my hall and I had to persuade them it wasn't for them.I'm trying to borrow a camera to how you how it looks.I'm late posting this because I got an eye infection and was not allowed to use a computer or read so lucky it happened after the season ended.The Pit has the best fans in the world.

[To fill in the gap, I sent hotclaws one of the Gonzo shirts given out at Chase on his appreciation day] Of course, you now will have the endless task of explaining who he is, and his significance, to everyone when you wear it. I would recommend printing up little cards, it’ll save time. :-)

Can’t think of anyone who deserves it more. Your passion for the team, in the face of a 7-8 hour time difference, can only be admired. Maybe you should insert the kitten in the shirt for the picture – that’d be lolcat fodder, if ever I saw it! Hope the eye infection is better: I’d go mad if I couldn’t read or use the computer for…well, any longer than 15 minutes, I suspect!

if any Brits walk up to you and ask you something moronic like “Who is Gonzo and why is he on your shirt precious ?” Please stab them in the thigh while screaming “November 4th 2000 and 1 !!!” Then simply walk away. You will confuse the shit out of everyone even more and the media will come up with some cool word play name for you and your victims and eventually it will make it to American News Sites and then we could all lol cuz we will really know what’s up.

I laugh until my head comes off.

What an awesome gift! And Jim is awesome for doing that for you :)

I took one of the extras I got and sent a DBacks care package (the Gonzo shirt, an Augie Bobblehead (which I had Augie sign), a baseball I also had Augie sign…on the sweet spot, and a batting practice cap I ordered and had Augie sign too) to my friend in California who is a big Dbacks fan and his fave players are Augie and Gonzo…so it’s cool :)

you may very well be the only subject in all the realm sporting that Gonzo garment. That makes you unique, not that you weren’t already. Have a great winter and I’ll look forward to your comments next Spring, when the starlings are alight over the Cenotaph (or something).
