I can't believe this happened all the way back on Friday and there hasn't been a press release about it from the Diamondbacks yet! Imagine my surprise when I was flipping the channels this morning after a rough night of avoiding handing out Halloween candy, when who's name do I hear as I pass by CBS's Sunday morning news program?
Your 2009 Robert Goulet Memorial Mustached American of the Year, Clay Zavada.
Congrats Clay, now lets see if we can get Drew into the top 10 for the 2010 Lynard Skynard Memorial Mullet of the Year.

I'm frankly surprised
The award didn’t go to Jeter or A-Rod, the amount of praise that’s been hurled at them the past couple of weeks. Nice to see some areas of human endeavor don’t suffer from quite the same East-coast bias.

I voted MANY times for Clay and had even spread the word for him on my MySpace, LiveJournal, and Facebook accounts when I first read about the award months ago on their site…so I am glad my votes went to helping him win too :)

Peter Lacovara i’m one of 34 users in all of the youtube community to have actually watched the video that was attached to that article. And then in homage to zavada, i tied a beautiful woman to railroad tracks.
