Around SBN: Fighters React to Nick Diaz's Positive Drug Test

I know Jim mentioned this in his post today, but thought I'd throw a fan shot out here as a reminder.

Chat room is open now

If anyone wants to submit their question in advance, now is a good time, even if you can’t hang around for the entire chat

mlb.com did some non-compete trimming...

slicing the “d” off the front of dbbptap when they printed the transcript to — my best guess — prevent promotion of a competitive Diamondbacks website. Our thanks to Josh for making himself available again to fan questions.

Hmmm.... think it was intentional?

Rather than plain incompetence?

mlb.com

also eliminated Josh’s acknowledgement of JoshByrnesWhenIPee’s comical ID when Josh began his response with an “Ow.” These mlb.com guys need to work on their sense of humor, methinks.

Frankly, I was a bit surprised

That ID was allowed to appear in the chat at all!

Writing up a piece on the chat, trying to read between the lines a bit. Should be up later tonight!

I was too

It’s funny that they put the JoshByrnesWhenIPee ID in the transcript but censored Josh’s funny one-word response to him.

I was surprised, too....

I mean, don’t they realize that little kids read these things??

Didn't the person who had that name

realize that too? You’d think instead of trying hard to be cute, a different name could have been used.

If you make every game a life-and-death thing, you're going to have problems. You'll be dead a lot.
