He Who Must Not Be Named... Injured
I love how this is breaking news on the Yahoo MLB page. Anyway. Carlos Quentin, deserving MVP candidate, will undergo wrist surgery on Monday and may be out for the rest of the regular season. That's too bad for him...

Ouch
Not good news for the White Sox. Hope he’ll be back in time for the playoffs for them.
Or not, I’m really cheering for Tampa.

Me too!
I’m not really cheering for the Sox, but I do like him. I’m glad he was doing so well there, it sucks that he has to get derailed by this…

Reds fan here
Since I’m cheering for the D’backs to make it to the playoffs because of the Dunn factor, I also have to cheer for the White Sox because of the Griffey factor. I hope the Pale Hose can overcome this setback.

Pale Hose?
When did that become his nickname? :) Pale Horse, perhaps?

Yeah
Hose, a rather archaic style of clothing.

I just commented about this
In the Off-day Thread, before seeing your post here. It looks like it was a self-inflicted injury too. Definitely not what the White Sox want to see with a 1.5 game lead over the Twins: it’d be like us losing Adam Dunn. But at least it means we won’t have to face him in the World Series…. :-)

Yeah I noticed you did ;)
But I let ya off the hook for it, lol.
Maybe we could shorten the number of fanposts in the sidebar? To 5 or 6? Then fan shots would be higher on the page.

Would make sense
But it doesn’t appear to be configurable from this end. I did move the fanshots up above the poll though, to try and enhance their visibility. I wish it would highlight a new fanpost or fanshot, in the same way it highlights new comments…

I swear there was an area to configure that
I thought I saw that in the sandbox if not more recently. Also something I can’t find any more is the layout! I thought it was in the same area… but that must be in your area only. Boo. :(

Yeah,
that’s manager-only. Not for mere editors like us. ;-)

That sounds
an awful lot like the Carlos Quentin I remember from the D-Backs. Hope he gets better quickly and returns to White Sox form.
