Must-win Game, #2 in a series of...well, let's make it two for the moment. One day at a time, people. Smoke 'em if you got 'em, folks. The season could effectively be over by a little after lunchtime, so bring on all the mojo you can find. Even Mrs. Snakepit, who usually rolls her eyes at any mention of the Snakepit deities [though that might be because it's usually Penelope Cruz in a bikini], was kind enough to contribute the following:
Hang on: did someone say Penelope Cruz in a bikini? [That's twice now - shameless search engine keyword stuffing, if ever I saw it...] No problem: ask and ye shall receive...
I'm suspending the 'one picture per poster' thread rule for this one. I think our mission should be to sling as much as we can at the walls of fate, and hope that some of it sticks. We may be going down, but at least we can bring the SB Nation servers with us. :-) Game analysis? Pitching matchups? They're all absolutely irrelevant at this point. Just win, baby. Make the Dodgers earn the division title, at least by beating somebody. Don't hand it over to them before they've even arrived at the ballpark. Go, D-backs.

Evening all
Today is my penultimate day at work and therefore the season must be live until my final day tomorrow ;) although I will be very hungover given that tonight is my leaving drinks :/
I kind of like having the pressure off though, its refreshing to just worry about this game rather then the playoffs or dwelling on the what if’s. In particular Mr Drew has been a great source of hope recently whilst in an odd kind of way Dunn sucking relative power based chunks is easing my mind about spending too much on the guy or on a more positive note may bring his asking price down by a million or two.
I also hope DD is able to finish the season with a win after all he’s had to suffer. I know there’s no room for sentiment in sports but as far as I can recall the guy hasn’t missed a start since he came back and that in itself it a big achievment. When you add to this the fact he’s got a very respectible 4.25 ERA I think he’s been just what we want out of a 4th starter.
Anyways that went off topic but lets go D-Backs :)

My high school orchestra director
had that in his office.
I used it often, because after dealing with high school freshman for an hour as a sectional coach, that’s all I wanted to do.
Pretty soon I might put one in my cello locker in the music building for days like today, when I hike up to (Ashurst. UGH) a rehearsal I shouldn’t have to go to, only to find that said rehearsal has been cancelled and I have to hike back down the hill. Tons of fun.
