Getting myself in trouble. . .
I was annoyed by Silverblood’s comments on McCovey Cove; and I posted a fanpost about it over on Purple Row. (Didn’t have her email.) She did a good job of defending herself, based mostly on DBacksSkins behavior over there. Which I found inadequate since I’m not DBacksSkins; and I don’t post nasty comments about the Rockies on other SBN sites. In general, I succeeded in making everybody over there mad at me. Which, since “Friendly Visiting Fan” to that site seems to mean “Watch Your Back”, I guess is no great loss.

I could care less about the orkies and never would have visited their site if it wasn’t for silverblood and rox girl coming over here last season mouthing off about our team and its fans.
I could so care less if it was in the spirit of a ‘budding rivalry’, I found no humor in it and have had a strong dislike for those two every since.
yeah, I understand they are not a fan of my team, but don’t ever come onto my teams site and talk shit about it or its fans again. They can diss us all they want on their site if it gets them off.

Yeah, good point, but it is disingenuous. It’s all, “Hey, guys! Let’s be friends!” and then being rude with the other kids on the playground. Plus, I just pretty much hate lying, so there you go. And I’d stuck up for her because I thought she was okay as a visiting fan. So I was annoyed about that. She cut me, man, she cut me!! LOL

I have been saying for awhile now
that Owings will make it as a hitter and not a pitcher. He doesn’t have the stuff to be the power pitcher that he pitches like and he doesn’t ahve the control to be a control pitcher.
OTOH the guy can flat rake even though he only gets regular ABs every 5 days. He’s the best hitting pitcher to come along in 80+ years. . . .
Does he have the fielding skills to allow him to play everyday if he’s not pitching?

The part where they say that some experts say it’s a problem.
They can’t say it’s based on real science, just that some experts (probably the people who own their company) say that you should do something about this problem.
