I sure as hell hope not
I think Reynolds would be a good short term fit, maybe even long term. Don’t be hasty and try him out

well yeah, but
I dunno. I just don’t think Eckstein is worth it, if we have to give up any more value in the farm. The system is stressed enough the way it is.

And......
FireJoeMorgan is getting prepared to rake us over the coals……

Those guys are a-holes
Eckstein has turned the neat trick of simultaneously being the most overrated and underrated player in baseball and he would definitely be an improvement for this team at second base.
They go overboard sometimes, but I like 'em anyway,
especially since the stale sports media in this country NEEDS more sensible criticism. Not to mention that they’re (the FJM guys) full-on stats freaks — assailing the idea that Eckstein or Jeter are better than ARod or Bonds because they’re more “clutch”, etc.
Hmmm…. Eckstein is simultaneously the most overrated AND underrated player in baseball? I like that. Kinda reminds me of Steve McNair in his prime.

No thanks. I think the Augie-Reynolds combo will suit us just fine.

Well,
Augie is ALREADY kinda like a cheaper version of Adam Eckstein….

Not sure if the “Adam” was an intentional or accidental error, but the guy Eckstein always reminded me of was Adam Kennedy. And yes, Augie certainly resembles both of them.

Accidental.
“Adam” Eckstein is a friend of mine.

All signs
point to “yes” — since we got him today.

The Jays fans
are NOT particularly pleased at this trade.
