An interesting week.
With another interesting one to follow.
It was almost even more exciting, since warlords was down 9-0 going into Saturday. Would’ve tightened things up at the top even more. As it is, it’ll be a fight to the finish.
Sure wish I’d remembered to set my lineup last night.

Although...
The plus side is I only need a 4-6 loss (or 3-5-2) to clinch a playoff spot, and that’s assuming the 7th or 8th place team goes 10-0. Should be okay.

Playing the spoiler....
is what the Kids have been relegated to. I got a wee bit excited seeing that 9-0 lead midweek, I’ll admit.
I’ve been pretty unplugged from the ‘Pit and from most other pursuits this year – but although I’m way, way out of any decent finish in the league I’ve made a pact with myself to manage aggressively to the very end.
The Kids will have a say in who wins this thing, dammit.

Worst. Team. Ever.
Dear Josh Byrnes: Please DFA Chris Burke. He can't hit, and probably never will.

Well
Carlos Lee on the DL basically screws my season :(
So...time for another drink then?

Strange
H2H is so odd… my team is actually performing better right now than it was when I was winning a bunch… but I haven’t been able to pull off many wins due to the match ups. This week my weak pitchers really killed me. Hopefully they can keep their blow-ups at a minimum or I’m going to go just with my strongest pitchers and then guys who won’t throw many innings (and consequently can’t hurt my ERA and whip too much).
