D-Backs are the Forrest Gump of the League
Despite our best efforts to sink to the basement by losing 12 out of 16, our lead in the NL West just picked up 1/2 game to maintain our status as the team with the biggest 1st place lead in all of Baseball. Seriously, I don't know what's more amazing, our talented squad's total regression into Three Stooges' territory or the Dodgers' steadfast commitment that the Snake win the Division. One of these teams is going to get back on track, right?

When they start playing each other. Seriously, I feel the theme tune for the entire NL West this season needs to be the theme from Benny Hill.

Latest Power Rankings
From Sports Illustrated:
With the worst record of any divisional leader, in a division in which every team has played below .500 since the beginning of May, the former No. 1s are now in deep, deep trouble. Sinking to a new Power Rankings low, the Snakes have won two in a row only once since May 16, and those were against the Nats. How low can they go?
And we are the highest-ranked team in the NL West at #13. The Dodgers are next, all the way down at 22nd.

13 is very kind. #8 in Foxsports power rankings. Right now we should be in the 20s, frankly.
