Nippert
Was one of those infuriating players who, when he was on his game, seemed almost un-hittable – so I can’t say this surprises me greatly either. However, I seem to recall someone [shoe?] posted a chart showing Nippert’s release point, and it was all over the place: his mechanics were just not repeatable, it appears. There’s a reason that he was sent down to Triple-A by Texas: that would be 8.2 IP, 19 H, 8 BB, 16 ER and a 16.62 ERA. If he can be fixed by some organization, they are welcome to try, but I think he is one of those pitchers who will flatter to deceive.
And welcome to the ‘Pit, BleedingSedonaRed!

Welcome to the 'Pit!!
Also, eh…. I’m not really too worried about it. I still remember when EdGon threw a 2 hit shutout when he first got to AAA.
