The sweep by Minnesota has exposed the Diamondbacks once again as pretenders rather than contenders. The question has to be: is there anything which can be done to correct this? Are we simply hoping that the return of Eric Byrnes proves the panacea for all our ills? [Look it up. :-)] Should we be looking to make a trade between now and the deadline? If so, what position do we need to share up, and who do we trade away? Is the issue with the staff off the field as well as the players on it? Short-term, long-term or whatever. Bring it on.
