Diamondback Bars in Colorado
Does anyone know where a good place to catch a dbacks game in Colorado is? Preferably in Denver or surrounding areas. I have some friends coming in town and would like to go to an Arizona friendly bar. Any help would be greatly appreciated! I have heard that the sportscolumn is a good place to catch a game, but its not necessarilly the best atmosphere. Anything helps! Thanks in advance guys! Four more words needed :D

For about $300 per hour...
I’ve heard the Denver Club is pretty hospitable when it comes to the Rockies and Diamondbacks.

Do they take
coupons?

Is it a dry city?
‘Cos I could walk in to just about anywhere here in Scottsdale.

I suppose
It depends on your definition of ‘Diamondback bar’. There are a number of places that will show the game [albeit somewhat grudgingly…if there aren’t any NBA games on], but I haven’t found very many where there is any kind of enthusiasm. If you know of any, I’d be happy to hear about them!

+1
I’ve been a couple places with the game showing, but I feel like I’m the only one watching…
Currently blaming the D-backs struggles on: the Diamondbacks scoring fewer runs than the other team. Well, I was bound to get it right eventually.

Well what kind of enthusiasm are you looking for?
People going crazy, lots of decorations? If that’s what you’re looking for, the only thing that comes close that I’ve been to is Native New Yorker on Mountain View, but even then it’s not like the Suns. You kind of have to expect that though, being that there aren’t a ton of hardcore fans yet, and even less that own bars.

This may sound strange,
but the only bar I can remember being in where people were watching the game was the Mountainaire Tavern, in Mountainaire, AZ.
Totally random, I know.

You might want to ask over at Purple Row- I suspect you’ll find more familiarity with the Denver bars there than here.

Though they might not know
or want to share where you can watch the D’backs in Denver ;-)

Hey, with how the Rockies season is going so far, they may be glad for the excuse to change the channel.

That's true
and it’s not like Lou in Blue is asking for a Padres bar.
