Mientkiewicz calls Big Unit "Mentally Weak"
Mientkiewicz responds to his confrontation with the Big Unit earlier in the week.
I thought that Randy's "stretcher" comment was pretty ridiculous in the first place, but I can't help but think that Mientkiewicz is a tool. Maybe if he was "mentally stronger" he wouldn't be a utility man playing for the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Watch for Mientkiewicz
to be plunked at LEAST once the next time we play the Pirates. Shithead.

Yeah
Because you know he’s just like all those other wusses who were a dominant figure in baseball for over a decade.
Currently blaming the D-backs struggles on: this pain in all the diodes down my left side.

Love this quote
“that’s why [mentally weak] he got out of New York…” This, coming from a guy riding the pine in Pittsburgh. Give me a break, Mientkiewicz, you’re the one that pulled the pussy move to call a timeout during a pitcher’s delivery. You’re lucky you didn’t get drilled right then. But no, of course. You’re right, Randy Fucking Johnson, a player with more skill and accolades than what you could hope for playing in Shitsburgh, is the mentally weak one here.
"D'backs" means seatbelts! "D'backs" means crash positions!

Oh Yeah
I can see how someone can say that about the big unit.. I mean, just look at the sad little list below
- 5x Cy Young Award winner: (1995, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002)
- 10x All-Star selection: (1990, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1997, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2004)
- World Series champion in 2001
- Led AL in ERA in 1995
- Led NL in ERA in 1999, 2001, and 2002
- Led NL in wins in 2002
- Led NL in innings pitched in 1999 and 2002
- Led AL in strikeouts in 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995
- Led NL in strikeouts in 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2004
- Second All-time in strikeouts with 4,685.
This just PALEs in comparison to Mientkiewicz career.
fucking asshole.

While I wouldn’t classify RJ as “mentally weak” it sure did seem to me that Mientkiewicz did get into RJ’s head in that game.

hit him!
in fact, every single time he comes to bat! doug m’s a clown, just like julio lugo. lugo pulled that same stunt with two outs in the sixth and you could tell randy just wanted drill him in the teeth. he held together and wound up strinking lugo out. it was the wise move, but as it looks more and more like randy isnt going to get to 300 (i’m still praying); he should at least maintain his legacy.

Well he did
make a pretty good point about RJ being on a stretcher for the last 3 years. Tough to swallow yet mostly true.
