The Story So Far...

This is something we did last year, and I thought it would be fun to continue it this season. The graph below charts the progress of the team, compared to previous years, measuring the number of games above or below .500, through the first 31 games.

You can click on the image for an expanded version. The key is:

  • 2008 [+11] - Light Blue
  • 2007 [+1] - Lilac
  • 2006 [+5] - Sedona Red
  • 2005 [+5] - Yellow

The above graph really drives home what an astoundingly-good start the team has had this year. Even after losing the series over the weekend, we are a full five wins better off that we were last season, when we won the division. Long may that continue.

I think we are better than last year in so many ways

problem is, good streak like that and we get spoiled and think we should always win.

We will meet in Red 3 at the hour of scampering.
