Reynolds, what are you doing?(In relation to hitting)
Do I really need to spell it out that he is hitting really poorly. Adam Dunn and Ryan Howard don't look that bad when they are at the plate. I don't mind if a guy strikes out a lot as long they are hitting bombs, but what Reynolds is doing is ridiculous. I don't know what is worse, his hitting or his fielding. He reminds me of the religious black guy from the move Major League. He can only hit pitches that don't move much.

Thank you
for making it obvious to all why a 75 word minimum for all fanposts is an extremely good policy.

+1 and recommend
This is what the Fanshots section is for: quick hits. Please bear this in mind in future.

And. . .what?
Hmm. Not sure what your point is here. If you’ve got a minimum of 75 words for a fanpost, maybe you could extrapolate a little bit on your title. What is Reynolds doing in relationship to what? Fielding? Hitting? Being fun on the press bus? Mowing his lawn? Making sure that his A/C is set to 80 degrees as recommended by the electric company? Using good driving techniques to conserve gasoline? Recycling? I think you might have done better to have posted some content.

You know, you never can tell! Sometimes I think it’s wildly obvious, but some people take it seriously. Thank you for noticing without the disclaimer!

I'm offended at your sarcasm
aimed towards our inability to detect sarcasm. Or were you not being sarcastic? :-D

Come on, people
Let’s not be sarcastic about sarcasm. Then we might accidentally be ironic, and that’s a whole different problem.
"Look, I'm not a financial expert or anything, but I'm pretty sure that a zeppelin is an excellent investment opportunity."
Adam Dunn: 28 years old, in his 8th season in the majors
Ryan Howard: 28 years old, in his 5th season in the majors
Mark Reynolds: 24 years old, in his 2nd season in the majors
Did Dunn or Howard have any problems in their first few seasons in the majors? Probably. Dunn hit .215 in 2003. Howard had 199 strike outs in just last season.
Reynolds is young, and he’s making mistakes, which is exactly what I think he’s doing right now. Making mistakes and (hopefully) learning. We’ve seen he can hammer the ball, and we’re learning he’s got some jets on the bases. He’s learning.

Thank you very much, kishi,
for putting this all into perspective.

Into perspective?
It’s okay for Reynolds to play this bad, but not okay for Upton to have errors. Upton’s 20 years old.
Brandon Webb, do I need to say more?
I think it was in reference to the sarcasm/irony thread.

Do we have a “Upton, what are you doing? (In relation to fielding)” post? =)
I’m not saying I’m necessarily pleased with Reynolds performance at the plate lately, or some of Upton’s play in the field. But I believe both can (and will) improve, and that’s the important part.
"Look, I'm not a financial expert or anything, but I'm pretty sure that a zeppelin is an excellent investment opportunity."
Actually,
I’m one that’s been agreeing with dahlian that the metrics show that Jupton’s been pretty acceptable as a defensive OF. Errors are only the scorer’s prerogative.

Bear in mind
That this time last year he was still playing in Double-A, and was only called up because every other third baseman between him and the majors was injured. Under normal circumstances, he’d probably still be in Triple-A about now: he’s just doing his learning on a much more public stage than is the case for most prospects.

Hey, which player had a not-so-complimentary nickname from his rookie struggles? We’ll complain when Upton allows a run he shouldn’t have, and we’ll complain when Special K whiffs with RISP. But, in the long run, they’re young. We don’t complain too much about them except right when they’re making mistakes.

Did you read the GDT tonight?
I couldn’t stop talking about how great Jupton’s D has been.
