What will Mark Grace have to talk about now [Maple Bats]?
MLB will be studying maple bats next season to deterimine if there needs to be a change. They'll be looking at how they're cut, dried, and materials used all in an effort to appease Mark Grace make the game safer.

There are few things worse
Than artificially-created traditions. Remember the efforts a couple of seasons back to make Brown-Eyed Girl the Arizona version of Sweet Caroline? That pretty much tanked, didn’t it. Fans bringing out signs is good. Fans bringing out signs for specific players, is great. Fans doing so in response to relentless demands from the commentators…not so good.
