Randy Johnsons departure

I would like to take this time to bid farewell to Randy Johnson, he has done so much for the Diamondbacks, taking a very young team to the World Series and winning it. It wasn't just him, but he had a huge part in it. His personal achievements have also come in the Dback uniform, first No Hitter, and securing a spot in Cooperstown. Maybe it is time for him to hang up his cleats? Make room for a younger better pitcher, that the Dbacks so desperately need. Johnson has done a terrific job, but it's time. This would be a smart trade, not something dumb like, I don't know trading Jose Valverde, your best closer. You are going to trade him. Why? I don't know, it sounded good at the time. So, here's to you Randy, I raise my beer to all that you have accomplished for the team and for yourself. I hope that you do the responsible thing and hang up your cleats.
