Fry's Gives Up on Diamondbacks

Well, just for this season anyway.

I hit up Fry's last night to fill up on gas before my trip to Phoenix this weekend, and they had all their Diamondback stuff on clearance 50-75% off. Hats, t-shirts, beer sleeves, stuff like that. Of particular note: those 10th anniversary DVDs were all the way down to a buck. And there were like 50 of them.

All Fry's stores handle their clearance differently, but there's a good chance one near you could have some good deals going. Might behoove you to check it out.

Mileage may vary

Just got back from our local Fry’s- they’ve got their hats and shirts, etc., at 50% off. But the DVD is still at $14.99 down here.

They did have some children’s hats, though, so I’ve got a Christmas present picked out to get the Rally Baby prepared for next season.

The DVDs

are at $14.99 here, too. But I did get one of those bottle jerseys for cheap.

A couple of months ago

when the Dbacks were still in first place, my Fry’s (20th & Highland) had reduced the DVD’s to $5, so I gathered they weren’t much of a seller.

I’ll find one at a yard sale for a buck, and haggle it down to fifty cents.

First 10 Seasons DVD

I just joined this site nad stumbled upon this thread…I hope Fry’s still has those DVDs left, as I borrowed the DVD from a friend and want to obtain a copy of my own. I will have to check out the 2 Fry’s stores near my place and see if anything’s left!

How nicely would be required?

I don’t know if I’m willing to go to such extreme measures as saying “please.” Bribery might be a better way to go. What if I just refrain from finishing the request with “jerkface”, would that be enough?

You’ve already accomplished it by not asking “would that be enough, jerkface.” That seems palatable enough to me.

Don’t worry too much- after posting, I remembered that, duh, my little sister is up in Flagstaff, too, and I’m going to see her in the next week or two, so I can bug her to go check, too.
