Around SBN: Interview With UMD Athletic Director, Dr. Debbie Yow

AzPhan's true identity

It has become increasingly clear that AzPhan has more at stake in the Colangelo/Moorad-Kendrick debate than just his interest in the 3.62/128.4 baseball system and the land-use deals put forth by the Maricopa County Stadium District. He has a personal interest.

If you check the timing of his posts alongside the Toronto Raptor's schedule of play, you will see that he never posts when the Raptors are on the court, and he always posts more when they are not playing (now that they have been dumped by a #3 seed, he seems to have all summer off to rant about the Dbacks).

AzPhan is Bryan Colangelo. He is trying to fight back against the meanies who did his daddy wrong. Just like George W. did. And you can see how that turned out.

Excellent theory
But I think he is Jerry himself.

Makes sense...
Let's look at the evidence:

a) Bitter beyond belief at the new owners
b) Blind to the flaws of the Colangelo regime
c) Venomously opposed to the use of cheaper, younger players in place of "proven veterans"
d) Spouts meaningless gobbledygook and ignores actual facts

If it's not Bryan Colangelo, my money would be on Mrs. Luis Gonzalez. :-)

Unexplored angle
Someone do the research and time the posts against Red Sox games.  It could also be Curt Schilling.

Nah, Schilling has been known to use actual
stats and facts from time to time.

Says you
I've seen and heard plenty of interviews where it's apparent that he's making it up as he goes.  Current Bonds fiasco would be an example.
