Who will have more wins in September 2006, Diamondbacks or AZ Cardinals? Excuses welcome!

Since their performances have been going along swimmingly concerning the Diamondbacks, why not participate in a more comparable set of circumstances?

The AZ Cardinals are just about to fire up their inaugural season in their new digs at Glendale (Pink Taco Field).  They have (NME) No More Excuses not to perform and compete.

The Diamondbacks have the status of (AME) Any More Excuses to non-perform and compete.

Results and excuses are welcome!

LOL
Well, the Diamondbacks will, simply because they play about six times as many games. ;-) However, if you were to ask whether we'll have more wins than the Cardinals score touchdowns, that might make for an interesting bet! Would probably still take the baseball team on that one: I think the rookies get more chances down the stretch, and will produce some pleasant surprises. That, and Brandon Webb's Cy Young chase, are what will keep me watching down the stretch, but I'm still thinking my pre-season prediction of 75 wins will be close to the final mark.

I correct myself
My pre-season prediction was for 73 wins, not 75. That would mean going 8-15 over the remainder of the season, so looks like the team might best that. Looking at the other comments, specific predictions came in between 63 wins (Ben) and 81 (Louchart45). I think we'll almost certainly be somewhere in the middle!

Hey, we beat the 49'ers
That's got to be worth six or seven wins, right there. ;-)

Yup,the master baiter at his craft...
If only all the Cards opponents were as talentless  as the Niners...there might be a winning season to be had here.
